Bio
Courtney Brennan, corporate finance advisor

Ten years in M&A and private equity across London and Dublin.

From a bulge bracket investment banking start, through private equity and family office investment management, into founder advisory. I have built the models, negotiated the terms, and sat on the investor's side of the table.

Trinity College Dublin and HEC Paris, and continuing at Oxford. I published the Phi Philosophy on SSRN, where it was selected across four academic journals.

I have lectured at Trinity and mentored founders in Trinity LaunchBox and the ADAPT Centre. I advise founders raising and investors deploying, and I coach high performers on what they are building toward.

My work sits in the bridge between the legals and the financials, and in the translation between founder and investor. Most value is lost in that gap. Closing it is the practice.

The framework

Money is freedom. Meaning is what is done with it. Coherence is the point at which the two align.

The Phi Philosophy is a mathematical framework for meaning, built on the principle that the healthiest systems hold the same proportion between the part and the whole. It is the foundation beneath the advisory, the coaching and the course.
